Zambia Independence Day Celebrations, Saturday 24 October 2009
Part One:
Venue: Grattan Gardens Community Centre, 40 Grattan Street, Prahran
Time: 2pm until 8pm
Special Guests: JK and Gesh Groove
We invite all our members and community family and friends to come to Grattan gardens and meet other members of the Zambian community and also to meet our special guests all the way from Zambia, our very own JK and Gesh Groove.
The celebrations will include zambian food, as well as drinks and our DJ playing the very latest ZAMBEATS, RUMBA, AFRICAN BEATS,RNB and more.
There will be activities for the kids and we will present members of the Zambian football team that featured in the final of this year's Out of Africa football tournament as well as the models that represented Zambia at the fashion show of the same event.
This is a free event but we do ask that all non members and guests make a donation towards the food and drinks provided on the day.
